Join this on-line workshop to learn the emotional regulation techniques  to reduce the impact of stress on physical, mental & emotional well-being

FOR THE AUSTRALIAN ASSOCIATION OF SOCIAL WORKERS

Workplace stress is a significant issue impacting on Social Workers and their work. Continual stress impacts on Social Workers’ job satisfaction and can lead to feeling unhappy, stuck, ineffective at work and/or burnout.

The accumulation of stress impacts on our bodies, minds and our sense of self which can also effect on our clients and our communities of practice. Social Workers may experience compassion fatigue, “going through the motions at work”, lack of attuned presence with clients, colleagues and/or disengagement from the workplace.

Emotional regulation, self-awareness and resilience are skills that we can build in ourselves, our clients, and our communities of practice to help reduce the impact of stress.  This workshop explores how we respond to stress and offers practical techniques for greater emotional regulation and wellbeing.

Join this on-line workshop with one of your facilitators, Sally Richmond.  This workshop is being held for the Australian Association of Social Workers.
